Senior Planner and Scheduler Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling and Controlling different types of EPC projects: oil & gas, general construction, power generation / transmission / distribution or any other related industrial facilities. SENIOR SCHEDULING ENGINEER (Jan. 2005 to Jan 2011)

Assessing to Project Management, programming and controlling all the project activities dealing with the electrical business and using the SAP system and Microsoft Office tools, the performed activities were as follows:

be used by the Department of Projects Control.

Utilizing Primavera, created a baseline schedule for the Petrochemical Industrial Park Project, implemented daily updates, performed resource and cost loading, utilized claim digger, attended Weekly scheduling meetings and supervised de engineering design process. Responsibilities included; scheduling, coordinating, planning and controlling the projects. Accountable for the project/document control and administrative processes.

• "EPC Port Facilities Jose Cryogenic Complex" . DITECH - TECHNIP.

Updating percent complete . Managed projects of varying sizes and thousands of activities. Job functions included: attending weekly meetings to submit and review earned value and spin curves, performing schedule updates, entering new projects and submitting additional reports as requested. Daily gathering of updates from PM. Performed engineering project control activities, using a PERT - CPM, bar diagrams and man- hours control systems, drawings and specifications production control, progress reports preparation, coordination of the production and supporting to Project Management.
 

* Planning and progress control for Administrative Buildings and the NGL Marine Terminal 
Detail Engineering of Jose Cryogenic Project located 
eastern Venezuela, client  PDVSA, main 
contractor: Brown & Root (now KBR).
* Design of a general use project control system for the 
companys projects.

Accomplishments:
Completed the biggest NGL Marine Terminal in Venezuela, the project consisted in the development of civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering, of a loading dock with a 40 x 50 m platform and a 1.913,00 m access trestle. The scope included technical supervision of construction, was concluded on time and within the budget.
 

•Phase II.  EPC ISPS Project. International Ship and Port Security.

Construction scheduling, Ensured that the schedule was on target for invoicing, leveling resources and analyzing earned value. Attended Meetings to ensure fulfillment to client’s specifications and standard operating procedures. Collaborated with Subcontractors to ensure project compliance. updated schedule utilizing P3, Implemented invoicing, submittals, transmittals, daily reports, purchase orders and more, utilizing Project Management Software. Collaborated with project/ construction management staff on improvements to field survey, systems, and procedures. Contact for field staff. Prepared invoices and requisitions utilizing Expedition. Warehoused records for all transmittals sent in Expedition. Provided Project Management support in the form of preparing Project Reports, Project Schedules, Invoices and meeting minutes utilizing P3e and Expedition software.

Other Projects:
* Project of Construction and Equipment Installation of a 
Communications Room (civil and electromechanical works).
* Enlargement of a S/E Caroni 69 kV Bay, Upgrading

PROJECT CONTROL LEADER ENGINEER

Assigned for the Project New Venezuelan East Gas Pipeline Network of about 1200 Km inside the Client's Project Management headquarters (PDVSA). It was used the project planning and control system. That planning was performed together with an integrated cost control system.

Activities:
* Integral scheduling of the project starting with the 
engineering, taking on account the permits process, land 
owners, procurement of equipment and materials, through 
the construction and start up.
* Responsibility in the planning and progress control of 
the engineering of the whole project.
* Inspection, as part of project control team, of 
the detail engineering progress, assigned man hours 
control, progress control of drawing production, 
specifications, materials take off and construction 
quantities production.

Projects: 
* Inspection responsibility of the planning and progress 
control of detail engineering development for the First 
Section of the Anaco - Margarita Gas Pipeline, being 
performed at the headquarter of the engineering company 
YV.
* Responsibility in the inspection for the planning and 
progress control of detail engineering development of the 
Gas Pipeline,.

PROJECT CONTROL LEADER ENGINEER, MARACAIBO LAKE COMPRESSION PLANTS PROJECT (1999)

Performed several activities dealing with scheduling / controlling engineering and construction projects, EPC scheduling and support to the project management.. A CPM network of every project was elaborated on the areas of engineering, construction biding, purchasing and the construction itself. Working at fabrication site during the first stage of construction.

Activities: 
* Planning and progress control of the Engineering Project 
for six (6) modular prefabricated gas compression plants 
to be installed on platforms at Maracaibo Lake.

* Construction progress control of the above mentioned 
project during 8 months.

Accomplishments:

. The project was completed successfully and the compression plants were delivered to the job site at the calculated date.
